We are a company which works with some of the largest customer data in the world. Whether it is basket size, shopping frequency, price integrity or weekly trading reports, the Insight and Analytical teams work with the whole business to help us understand how we are performing, what are customers think, and how we can make things better, together. We also have one of the most innovative and data rich digital analytics functions, looking at everything from customer journeys, search engines, email campaigns to web analytics. These teams help look at customers and our business from a multichannel perspective, enabling the business to make the right decisions for our customers and colleagues.

You will be responsible for pulling on our most valuable resource, the data, to create valuable insight and then deliver this message to your colleagues. You could be communicating your insight to Tesco’s directors, your peers or indeed our partners and suppliers. Within this team you will be seen as an internal consultant and help the business drive forward key decisions from the insight provided to give the business direction and help achieve its vision.

As an analyst you could be supported in developing your career in project management, through training courses, experience and ongoing support.  You could work in our digital businesses, becoming a product owner, perhaps looking after one of our high profile Hudl launches.
