The world as a green appleOur company began selling groceries, and food still remains at the very heart of who we are and what we do today. Because everyone is welcome at Tesco, we appreciate that our customers have different tastes and requirements.

We work hard to give our customers a broad assortment of leading brands, a really good range of Tesco products - from Finest to Value lines - and lots of new ideas for feeding the family.

We continually look for high-calibre people, who have the capability to buy products, so we can give our customers the best possible prices and quality in our stores, every single day.

In short, we want people who can continue to put products at the heart of our business and who care as much about the provenance, health and design of our products as our customers.

Why are we here?

We're like every other part of the business in that we're
here to offer the best possible range of products at the best possible prices. When we bring products to our stores - we always try to innovate and improve the prices for our customers while working in partnership with our suppliers.

We define what we sell and at what price, with our decisions affecting all our stores as well as the business as a whole. And what a business: we sell enough bananas each year to stretch around the world five times, while our luxury toilet rolls would reach to the moon - fourteen times.

We want people who know how to turn that kind of challenge into real opportunity.
