Operations Development

When you think about Tesco, it's impossible to get past the fact that our operations are well regarded in the industry. But that's not good enough - we're always looking for the next breakthrough which will take us up another notch.

Which is where our Operations Development team come in.

Our job is to optimise the operating model for the UK business, continually improving the way we work in stores, distribution and head office. Our people work on just about every part of Tesco operations, so the range of projects on offer is vast, to say the least.

For example, we get involved in:

• Creating more timely and accurate ordering systems which will reduce waste and improve availability of products.
• Developing processes and systems which enable us to put the right products into the right stores.
• Designing the best way of delivering to our Express stores.
