That's the real beauty of Tesco. If you've got a good idea, it's the right environment to make it happen.

After graduation, I worked for a couple of smaller companies but decided to join Tesco because I wanted to be part of a large and rapidly growing corporate business. I hoped it would give me plenty of scope for progression, as well as training and development to help me get there. How right I was!

I joined Tesco Telecoms as a Product Manager for Tesco Internet Access. Then it was only a department of 3! Probably my first major thrill was when I was involved in the launch of Tesco Broadband.

More recently, I've been instrumental to the launch of the Tesco Internet Phone - and it's exciting to think that this phone system is already being used in 40 countries. That's the real beauty of Tesco. If you've got a good idea, it's the right environment to make it happen.

Even though I'm only 28, I've had the opportunity to introduce exciting new products and services and help to position Tesco as one of the leading telecoms operators in the country. I'm also very proud of the fact that I retain a permanent seat on the Tesco Telecoms Board.
