"I joined Tesco as it was seen as innovative in its practical application of IT and because it has a reputation for empowering its people to make things happen. At the beginning, I did lots of work on the early internet and in 1994 set up a website for Tesco - over the years this grew to become tesco.com which is now one of the busiest e-commerce sites in the world!
"Working at Tesco.com is fast paced and challenging - with this comes a great feeling of reward when we achieve our goals. The atmosphere is always supportive and the people are great. Indeed, their levels of enthusiasm and commitment never cease to impress me. Quite simply, I love what I'm doing. And whilst I'm concerned about this coming across a bit cheesy, I truly think that I've got the best job in the world!
