About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company and be part of a team which will shape the future of financial services for our customers. As Strategy MI Manager for Collections and Recoveries within Banking Operations, you will effectively lead and manage the operational strategy and MI function within the Collections and Recoveries department. You will define the Collections & Recoveries operational strategy through innovative strategic developments and help shape and deliver the operational plan through delivering commercial advantage and maximising portfolio profitability across all products. To do this you will understand customer outcomes and use data to understand demand, productivity, and efficiency in order to maximise overall cash collected.

You will be responsible for providing key stakeholders within Tesco Bank regular insight into how Collections and Recoveries are performing against all key deliverables. You willdesign, develop, evaluate and generate meaningful data that will support key stakeholders in making operational and strategic business decisions. You will manage a team of MI analysts and be responsible for defining MI requirements and ensuring accuracy of Management Information data for Collections & Recoveries. You will lead the operational development of MI and be recognised as the acknowledged expert in the creation and interpretation of MI within the Collections and Recoveries function.

Who we're looking for

  • Experience of managing detailed Management Information and Data Warehousing functions
  • Comprehensive knowledge of modern strategy management techniques and decisioning systems such as credit and behavioural scoring.
  • A proven ability to drive innovation in Management Information and records
  • Proven knowledge of contact centre technology
  • Proven experience with MI tools and techniques
  • Experience of producing MI in ways that are meaningful and usable by recipients
  • Experience of managing a small specialist team
  • Experience within Collections and Recoveries
