Commercial Development Manager - UK Clothing

Job Specification:

• This is a key role within the Commercial Change Programme, that aims to develop a simpler, better, cheaper Commercial Operating Model
• The Commercial Development Manager will work with the Commercial Teams to understand the opportunities for IT development to support operations in the UK and the interfaces between suppliers and the team in HSC.
• They will then be required to translate these opportunities into requirements for the IT teams in the UK and India.
• The projects that they will need to focus on are:
• how we best communicate and pass data from the UK to India
• the systems required to support the consolidation of reporting and analysis
• & a review of the tools needed by the Buyers in the UK to work as part of a Global Business.

Candidate Specification:

• Identify stakeholders, gather requirements and analyse options through workshop facilitation, brainstorming & interviewing
• Produce clear and concise documentation describing the business requirements in different divisions
• Interface with cross functional teams to ensure that requirements are understood and communicated
• Bridge the gap between the business and IT to ensure the solutions meet requirements and are best value for Tesco and its customers
• Challenge both the business and the architects to ensure the solutions are the best for Tesco
• Work with the business to develop robust business cases
• Ensure that the solutions form part of common operating model, that is repeatable across Tesco
