Job Specification:

Providing IT solutions for our stores, distribution centres and head office is no small task,especially when you're looking after 30,000 of the fastest tills in the world too.

As the IT Procurement Manager, responsible for IT infrastructure, you will be doing more than just procurement. You will work closely with our IT stakeholders and be responsible for proactive tendering, face to face negotiation, problem resolution and supplier management.

If you have experience of negotiation and buying within an IT environment, you are passionate about making a difference to cost, service and quality and want the opportunity to broaden your horizons and grow with us, then this could be the role for you.

Candidate Specification:

The ideal candidate will have a background in the IT industry and experience of IT procurement, including proactive tendering, face to face negotiation and problem resolution.

An understanding of contract law would be beneficial.

Experience and an understanding of outsourcing would also be beneficial.

The key skills required to be successful in this role will include strong supplier management and relationship building skills, strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence at all levels
