So, you're ready to take on the challenge. You want to get going with your career and make a major contribution to our business? That's what we like to hear.
Here's where it all begins. Just register your details and you'll be logged onto our system, so you can come back to your application form as often as you like. So what are you waiting for? Apply Now.
Application Process
On applying to the programme you will be asked to complete a self-assessment checklist. The self-assessment checklist is to make sure the role you are applying for is right for you, and you are right for us. On completion of this, you will be able to go onto the application form.
Don't worry – you don't have to complete your online application in one go. If you want to, you can save it at any stage and come back to it later. In fact, you can come back to it as many times as you want before you send it to us.
For the competency-based questions, you may find it easier to type out the answers in a Word document and then cut and paste them into the online application form. All the sections with an asterisk (*) next to them are compulsory, so make sure you fill them all in.
When you have submitted your on-line application form, please click submit! You will then receive a confirmation e-mail of your submitted form.
If you are successful at this stage, you will be invited to complete the behavioural talent screener. This is a questionnaire which asks for your responses to number of scenarios you may face when working at Tesco. If you are successful you will be invited to an interview.
Interviews for our programme are held by telephone. Successful interviewees will be asked to complete a day work sample. The work sample is a two way process; it helps you gain a better understanding of the area you have applied to and it enables our managers to see how you work with our customers and staff.
An assessment centre is the final stage for all programmes.

Applications are now open and will close on 15th January 2012.
You can only apply once each year for the programme. And to avoid disappointment, please apply as soon as you can.
