About the role

Are you a Supply Chain Manager looking for a Supplier Collaboration role where you will partner with Tesco's overseas businesses and International retailers?

The Export Operations team is part of the Tesco UK Supply Chain. The team are responsible for ensuring orders for both Tesco overseas businesses and other International retailers are prepared and delivered to our Retail Partners around the world.

We work collaboratively with our Suppliers, Supply Chain & Tesco Distribution centres for stock availability. We manage the onward movement through a 3rd party consolidator and the onward freight management with our logistics providers.

We currently distribute to 33 countries across the world.  There are exciting plans over the next few years to grow the business ten times its current size.

You will be responsible for

  • Ways of working and collaborative working practices with our retail partners internationally.
  • Regular meetings and communication to structure best practice.
  • Support the set up of new business partners.
  • Managing availability.
  • Collating forecasts from retail partners across the world.
  • Collaborating with the supply chain teams and suppliers to ensure the suppliers are provided with timely forecasts.
  • Follow critical path for stock management for promotions and events.
  • Manage claims from retail partners.
  • Legal compliance.
  • Ensuring all country regulatory requirements are met before goods are ordered.
  • Collation of export documentation required for Tax and excise purposes.
  • Check of documentation to ensure it is collated accurately.
  • To organise regulatory checks prior to dispatch where required.
  • Following our business code of conduct.

You will need

  • Supply Chain Management experience
  • Retail operations
  • Proven experience of collaborative working
