About the role

Design effective and innovative data management tools, to measure and analyse data for the department. You will review data from our various sources to support delivery of accurate performance and strategy measurement.

You will be responsible for

- Managing the department reporting tools and review data quality from our various sources.

- Managing period/weekly delivery of reports to support the strategy work and performance management of the department.

- Working collaboratively with our IT departments to ensure we are always in the best place to deliver accurate and measurable data.

- Seeking out new and innovative ways to improve our data management and to improve the way we measure.

- Developing IT solutions to support delivery of the department plan.

- Developing effective working tools to support delivery the department IT training needs.

- Developing innovative data management tools to provide leading insights which drive improvement.

- Supporting my colleagues to identify the root cause of any systems related problems.

- Responding appropriately to any queries/complaints and challenges regarding our data.

- Managing and responding to adhoc requests from the business.

- Following our Business Code of Conduct & always acting with integrity and due diligence.

- Supporting compliance of GSCOP through ensuring all my actions are fair and reasonable and follow guidelines.

- Internal IT teams

People and budgets you will be accountable for:

- The department has the required data in the right format.

- Data provided is accurate and up to date.

- Reporting tools support the delivery of the strategic plans

You will need

Operational Skills:

- Knowledge of software systems and development tools.

- Interpreting data, spotting trends and drawing conclusions.

- Attention to detail

Relevant Experience:

- Enhanced Microsoft Access, Excel & SQL

- Accomplished user of data warehousing.
