You will be responsible for

  • You represent the voice of the customer and support the One Stop Insight Manager to ensure business decisions are informed by robust and reliable customer analysis.
  • Supporting the One Stop Insight Manager and future One Stop customer strategy analysing customer, brand and market behaviour, identifying and understanding trends and making quantifiable recommendations for opportunities to improve the business.
  • Working as part of Tesco’s Insight Team to leverage Insight experience and resource for the benefit of One Stop’s commercial performance.
  • Measuring the effect of different customer investments and business decisions using the most suitable methodologies.
  • Delivering the day to day running of our store’s Customer Experience programme, working closely with agencies and One Stop Retail colleagues to deliver an improved customer experience in store.
  • Bringing data to life for business leaders through clear and impactful communication, presentation writing and delivery.
  • Supporting the One Stop Insight Manager with all ad-hoc customer research informing or measuring the success of One Stop’s business plans.
  • Working with Tesco’s Pricing team to issue weekly convenience price reporting to the One Stop Product team, ensuring 100% accuracy.
  • Working with the One Stop Insight Manager to deliver ad hoc price reporting requests and reviewing our quarterly price position against the market place, offering proposals for inflation or price investment.

You will need

  • A numerate degree.
  • You are comfortable with analysis and numerical skills.
  • You have great drive and enthusiasm.
  • SQL (or similar), Excel, PowerPoint skills.
  • Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail would be a key aspect of the role.
  • Strategic thinking to develop clear plans.
  • Agency and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of the convenience retail sector (desirable).
