About the role

Act as an escalation point for internal query resolution teams. Required to cut through hierarchies and work cross functionally across the business to mitigate any risk of GSCOP breach with regards to supplier invoice queries.

You will be responsible for

Ensuring that Tesco is compliant with the Groceries Supply Code of Practice (GSCOP) query resolution guidelines by:

  • Understanding issues quickly and categorising them effectively to enable quick resolution
  • Summarising issues for various stakeholders enabling them to take decisions quickly
  • Following escalation matrix to ensure all possible opportunities are given to the business to provide evidence to support query resolution
  • Communicating effectively with various functions across the business
  • Ensuring queries are resolved within agreed timelines
  • Working with the Supplier Support Manager to manage exceptions

You will need

  • Though experience is not mandatory, it would be advantageous to have previous experience in query management roles.
  • Ability to summarise complex issues
  • Great interpersonal skills,ability to build good working relationships with colleagues across the business
  • Time management
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Being able to communicate clearly
  • Quick learner
  • Attention to detail
