About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Data Analyst to join our people team. This is a new role where you will play a vital part in providing insight and analysis, highlighting opportunities for improvement on our core HR data.

By capturing and converting people related data into value adding information, this role is critical to the success of how we analyse our people data of the future.

As the key point of contact for providing analysis relating to payroll and people data, you will be the in-house subject matter expert, using your intuition and insight to identify potential errors and drive continuous improvement.  

You will be responsible for

  • Preparing data and trends in a simple, timely and accurate way that is appropriate to the audience
  • Using your technical knowledge of Excel to create, automate and maintain reports for the team
  • Building relationships and interacting with stakeholders across the business to access the correct data to produce accurate reports
  • Working with relevant Finance and Payroll teams as required to validate projected costs
  • Playing a key role in supporting our team's ambition to turn data into insight and action, by interpreting data to recommend actions and by coming up with insightful ways to present information to drive better decisions

You will need

You will have had experience of handling high volumes of data within an analytical capacity, a background working on HR data would be highly desirable as would experience using Oracle.

With an inquisitive mind and strong attention to detail, you will enjoy working collaboratively and a strong drive to complete projects.  

An advanced level of Excel is also required.
