Pensions Systems Administrator

About the role

To assist in developing and maintaining the Pensions Pension Administration system and perform general system administration tasks. Deliver an excellent colleague experience.

You will be responsible for

- Being a first line response to capture and investigate system issues

- Systems/development testing - Leading on user acceptance testing (UAT)

- Manage testing and report on issues and errors (maintain test matrices and error logs)

- Ensuring a rigorous testing strategy and high quality assurance standards

- General system maintenance and housekeeping tasks

- Maintaining all user profiles and user groups

- Processing scheme annual events e.g. Year end, Pen Inc and Benefit Reports

- Supporting the Systems owner and system analysts in delivering system developments and projects

- Liaising with software developers, third party providers and scheme advisors

- Liaising with internal systems teams and administration teams

- Providing systems support and training to the administration teams

- Supporting the administration teams with administration tasks and projects

- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always act with integrity and due diligence

You will need

Operational skills relevant for this job:

- Prioritisation and time management

- Communication skills - written and verbal

- Strong Team work ethic and willingness to help

- Highly motivated and keen to learn

- Highly numerate and analytical

- UK Pension Scheme knowledge

- Pension Systems knowledge (desirable)

Experience relevant for this job:

- 2+ years of DB Pension Scheme administration experience

- Experience of technical benefit calculations

- Experience of using pension systems and automated calculation / processes

- Experience of data manipulation in Excel / Access

- Experience of systems testing (desirable)
