About the role

We are searching for 2 Brand Managers.

You will be responsible for

Being the brand champion – living and breathing the guidelines, tone of voice and values 
• Brand lead for the category you manage
• Build and drive Brand strategy across the 6Ps and innovation pipeline through development of annual brand audit, working in conjunction with category and product development teams.
• Maintain and develop Brand Guidelines for consistent execution
• Working collaboratively with execution teams bring to market new and existing propositions 
• Maintain and grow brand online presence on Tesco Direct, driving innovation and ensuring content is relevant and up to date
• Understand the market through monitoring key trends and identifying relevant shows, fairs and conferences
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across product and other cross functional teams
• Ensure Tesco Group (International) relevance and transferability of Brand and category specific strategy, guidelines, pipeline & mixes
 

You will need

• Good understanding of branding, brand strategy, brand architecture and the development of brand guidelines and style guides
• Ability to develop a pipeline of innovation in brand based on a deep understanding of customer needs and have experience successfully taking these from concept to finished product
Sound understanding of research methodologies including: U&As; Concept Testing/Screening; product quality and Sensory Testing; packaging design testing and Qual/Quant Needs Segmentation. 
• Strong copywriting skills with a good understanding of the application of different tone of voice
• Brand Development & Interpreting customer trends
