Executive Reward Analyst

About the role

Subject matter expert and technical lead on all aspects of Executive Reward analytical work to provide a quality service to stakeholders using analysis and judgment of internal and external data.

You will be responsible for

  • Support senior colleagues with all aspects of reward management by providing insights into current market trends through proactive participation in research (pulse surveys, global research studies, etc.) and through external network
  • designing, building and implementing analytical models using people and market data to forecast costs, identify issues and impacts
  • assisting with design of pay and incentive schemes to ensure the remuneration structure is market-competitive
  • support the delivery of annual reward cycle for Executive population in relation to annual salary review, Annual Bonus award, and PSP awards
  • preparation of Executive survey submissions, including data collection, role matching, and reviewing/validating data provided by in-market reward teams for data integrity (WTW, PwC, Deloitte), and related data analysis of survey, carrying out data research, analysis and presentation of benchmarking data in relation to salary and incentives
  • maintenance of internal databases (global reward database)
  • complete monthly / annual routines, e.g. 4 weekly Executive Committee payroll audit
  • collating/reporting of data for Tesco's remuneration report
  • project manage small projects and / or discrete work streams
  • reward related administration, e.g. manage Group Reward mailbox, reward meetings, invoices/POs.

You will need

  • Detailed knowledge of executive remuneration, incentive structures and performance and remuneration reporting.
  • Good understanding survey methodologies, including knowledge job matching, job hierarchies, reporting lines and responsibilities.
  • Data analysis and modelling; managing and manipulation of large complex data sets 
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel & Office; ability to work with MS Excel VBA an advantage.
  • Analytical, numerical and problem solving skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Project management skills; strong planning and organisational skills; comfortable working with multiple tasks and tight deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
