About the role

We're looking for a Project Manager, with experience of working on HR projects, to join us here at our impressive Head Office in Welwyn Garden City, to lead the creation, development and implementation of the digital roadmap for all benefits processes across over 300,000 colleagues.  

In this exciting role, you'll be liaising heavily with our People Transformation team, internal stakeholders and our off-shore support centre in India to understand, map, propose and implement potential process improvements which can be made following the introduction of a new HR technology platform.  

This is a role for someone who enjoys solving problems, and who can cut through complex, matrix-style environments to deliver projects which enable positive change and drive efficiency.  It's a true end to end project management role, working on a programme which has the full backing of the leadership team and where you will truly make an impact on a huge scale within one of the UK's most well-known brands!  

You will be responsible for

  • Managing multiple colleague benefit projects that support the broader UK Reward & Benefits strategy  (many of the projects will have a digital focus as we aspire to 'go paperless' and simplify colleague journeys for accessing benefits).
  • Establishing project plans to get us from where we are to where we want to be, maintaining a clear governance framework throughout.
  • Writing proposal papers for discussion by UK Leadership Team.
  • Working with relevant stakeholders, particularly HR Teams, Technology and Communications, at all levels and across business areas or functions as required.
  • Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence.

You will need

Operational skills;

  • An experienced Project Management who is passionate about end-to-end project development and implementation.
  • Experience of managing HR Projects
  • Demonstrable experience of navigating complex, matrix-style organisations to deliver transformational business projects.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities.
  • A creative thinker with a pragmatic approach and ability to provide alternative solutions where established processes are not fit for purpose or are a risk to GDPR.
  • Confident and able to influence at all levels with strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Excellent analytical, numerical and problem solving skills.
