About the role

We are currently recruiting a Technical Analyst who can think outside the box and work cross functionally with our distribution and customer fulfilment teams. Supporting transformational projects which improve our business and experience for both customers and colleagues, you will be responsible for building new modelling / analytical tools and performance reporting using the coding skills you will have gained either during previous work experience or education. 

You will be responsible for

  • Providing big data and root cause analysis to identify solutions and drive strategic decision
  • Support change projects with data analysis to build business cases and minimise risk before live implementation
  • Building self-analytics capability using latest technology to eliminate needs for manual data retrieval and manipulation
  • Developing new visualization techniques to simplify trend analysis for people, systems and business performance
  • Building mathematical models to optimize current process flow  

You will need

Desirable skills & experience:

  • University degree of 2:1 or higher in a quantitative discipline or relevant experience
  • Minimum A in Mathematics (or related subject at A Level)
  • Data driven - manipulating, analysing and blending data using different sources
  • A good grasp of at least one programming language e.g. Python, Java, Scala or SQL
  • Results driven and works well in a team
