Partner Experience Manager – Clubcard Commercial Partnerships

About the role

We are a team of Senior Commercial Partnership Managers and Commercial Partnership Managers. We are predominately responsible for managing the partnerships with Clubcard reward partners, both developing new partnerships, renegotiating existing contracts, forming joint business plans and running the day to day accounts of these partners. We sit in the Loyalty Memberships and CRM team. We work cross functionally with the Online teams in Content and Product; Marketing and Legal teams.

You will be responsible for

Whilst specific responsibilities will be dependent upon the changing needs of the Tesco business, the following provides an overview of the role’s key responsibilities and measures:

  • In support of the delivery of the Big 6 target of Building Trusted Partnerships, develop a partner experience programme for Clubcard Partners and take ownership of the governance and engagement structure which supports this
  • Be the representative for the team with the broader Supplier Engagement team to facilitate the partner satisfaction surveys, analysing the results, generate actions and create the overall partner roadmap to improve our partnership experience programme
  • Define the overall partner communications plan to update on partner initiatives and key information accordingly
  • Define and facilitate the annual calendar of events (e.g. partner events, webinars) to ensure better visibility and improve understanding for our key partners
  • Utilise Tesco cross functional resources to support thinking above, enabling both a better partnership for Partners and Tesco, and improved opportunities
  • Working closely with Partners & Suppliers to communicate our long term strategy and vision. And help set expectations and define requirements for wider teams
  • In collaboration with the Online Product team, develop, test and roll out partner reporting solutions
  • Lead the regular KPI & trade performance reporting and review process for the team

You will need

You’ll need to have demonstrated experience of:

  • Self-starter who is able to be responsive and planned in order to meet the business needs
  • Ability to translate insights and trend into clear action plans in pursuit of improving partner engagement
  • Organised and able to facilitate/project manage events
  • Ability to build solid working relationships within Customer, and the wider Tesco organisation
  • Excellent written, communication & presentation skills to all level of seniority, and the ability to display complex ideas and concepts in a simple and effective way
  • Strong stakeholder Management and communication skills, being able to liaise and work with individuals at all levels of the organisation, and manage multiple stakeholder needs and involvement.
  • Ability to influence and persuade others, including senior stakeholders, to understand and take a specific course of action when there is no reporting link.
  • Ability to make decisions with often limited information or guidance, taking into account the needs of the situation, priorities, constraints and the availability of necessary information.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to new information or changing circumstances, modifying understanding of a problem or situation accordingly and taking the appropriate course of action to continue moving forward
