You will be responsible for

Looking after our colleagues:

  • You will know all of your managers and colleagues and understand how they feel about One Stop through discussions and employment engagement surveys.
  • You will invest time and develop your Area Managers to ensure your colleagues are managed by a great manager.
  • You will spot and nurture talent, delivering training and coaching that unlocks pride and high performance.
  • You will share people related news keeping your teams well informed.
  • You are visible and available across your store area, celebrate success and hard work to ensure colleagues feel engaged with our plans and are all working to the same goals.
  • You will partner your managers to support the wellbeing of your colleagues including short & long-term absence.
  • You will support localised problem solving through great relationships with colleagues and managers focusing on early and informal resolutions of issues.

Looking after our customers:

  • You will understand our customers, how they feel about their shopping experience in your stores and use these insights to drive the right training plans.

Looking after the Business:

  • You are a great ambassador for the One Stop brand.
  • You work as part of a team across the areas and are committed to support the free movement of people / jobs.
  •  You develop a culture of flexibility across your area to support stores and area opportunities.
  • You minimise settlement costs by providing sound advice, coaching and supporting around all Employee Relations issues.
  • You are skilled in Root Cause Analysis, delving beyond the most obvious issue, to understand the true issue & impact, being curious & testing others thinking to establish facts.
