Designer - Kids Essentials - F&F

You will be responsible for

  • To design and develop commercially viable product in line with the customer profile into price points
  • Manage the design process of the team to the critical path ensuring deadlines are met
  • Utilise sourcing facilities to engineer product development
  • Responsible for concept to first fit/first print sample in line with critical path
  • Have a solution driven approach with buying team.
  • Liaise effectively with buyers to progress developments and approvals in line with critical path
  • Anticipate and deliver new product opportunities through innovation and creativity in response to changing business conditions
  • You must be self-motivated with a driven, can do attitude and work unsupervised in an accurate, methodical and organised manner.
  • Fabric knowledge and commercial printing techniques are essential

You will need

  • Must have clothing retail background with a proven track record of success in garment and graphic design (4-5 years’ experience)
  • You will need to demonstrate a confident technical understanding of printing techniques and fabric knowledge at supplier level.
  • Good understanding of Kids clothing  handwriting (Both genders)
  • Good at managing critical path and key deadlines.
  • Hold a commercial eye for print and pattern.
  • Efficacy - The ability to work in a fast paced, exciting and demanding environment.
  • CAD skills are essential Photoshop & Illustrator
  • To possess strong presentation skills including creative rack up and vocal skills.
  • Communication skills to be clear & confident when dealing with the customer.
