The role will cover the following areas: Lincolnshire, Nottingham and Cambridge.

You will be responsible for

  • You will review the daily store performance board and review on every visit
  • You will lead the customer plan
  • You will review the P&L for your area, celebrate success and investigate any concerns
  • You will review sales, shrink, known loss & labour budgets to ensure spend in line with agreed targets
  • You will visit stores fortnightly to coach my team sharing knowledge and expertise to serve our local shoppers a little better everyday
  • You will complete quarterley store health checks, audits to demonstrate store due dilligence agreeing action plans/next steps.
  • You will effectively deal with any customer complaints.
  • You will review any accidents and agree corrective next steps with Store Manager.
  • You will meet with your People Partner fortnightly to discuss people matters.
  • You will engage in any training/development offered to you to support your personal development/ knowledge.
  • You will ensure security incidents are followed up in a timely manner and support people welfare
  • You will drive your area to have an active part in the community
  • Attend all regional and business meetings sharing information on the areas performance.

You will need

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a knowledge of Retail and Store Operations.
  • Computer Literate – including a good understanding of Excel.
  • Good planning & organisational skills, & attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to time pressures in a fast moving & rapidly changing market.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity & to make fast paced decisions.
  • A keen problem solver who is always looking to make improvements.
  • Able to analyse decisions & come up with logical recommendations.
  • Most importantly a team player.
