About the role

You will be responsible for measuring and optimising our social & digital content to help the team create and deliver world-class content for our customers.

You will be responsible for

  • Leading the day to day measurement of organic and paid content across the Tesco social media channels.
  • Making strategic recommendations to optimise our content and channel performance.
  • Becoming a proficient user of our social media management platform, Sprinklr, in order to effectively plan, optimise and measure the performance of our content, as well as managing access rights across the business.
  • Continuously monitoring industry and platform developments as well as competitor activity to identify opportunities to test, learn and innovate.
  • Developing relationships with the social media platforms and our social media management partner to ensure our measurement solutions are best in class.
  • Supporting the Content Optimisation Manager to establish guidelines for the Tesco group on digital content creation, branding and social media best practice.
  • Supporting the Content Optimisation Manager in other day-to-day tasks and requirements, including governance of all Tesco social media accounts, password management, etc.

  • An understanding of customer behaviours in the retail industry
  • A solid grasp of basic mathematics and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
