About the role

This role is integral to co-ordinating the governance cycle for the People Team, ensuring we have the right forums in place to hold strategic discussions and decision
making which will impact the colleague experience across the Tesco Group.

You will be a key contact for the market teams, supporting the annual planning approach and co-ordination of external people reporting requirements, as well as assisting in gathering internal and external insight that shapes our future people strategy and plans.

You will be responsible for

Co-ordinate the governance cycle for the UK People Leadership Team, Group People Leadership Team and Change Governance creating the right forum for key
strategic discussions and decisions to be made and tracking next steps and decisions to ensure progress is made in between meetings.

Track and report on key milestones within the UK and Group people plans, escalating any opportunities or risks, to ensure the plans are driving desired outcomes across all markets.

Work in partnership with the Group Corporate Social Responsibility team and global People Teams to collate and review insight and deliverables for our key external
reporting commitments (WDI, DJSI, Little Helps Plan).

Work with the TBS team on capturing core group people data, ensuring we have a simple and automated way to collate people data across the group that is always
accurate and available.

Support the People Strategy Manager with researching and sharing key external People trends to support the ongoing evolution of the People strategy and Group People priorities.

Support in building presentations for external or internal Group People related requirements.

Co-ordinate attendance of People Team Colleagues to external conferences and networks identifying where there are opportunities for these to add most value to the People function.

Support the Centre of Expertise Director in managing the functional budget in partnership with Finance.
