About the role

A rare and exciting part-time opportunity has arisen to join the team responsible for our Apprenticeship and Graduate programmes across Tesco in the UK. 

We are seeking someone to business partner with our stakeholders and take ownership of Data for all programmes tracking learner progression across Head Office, Stores and Distribution Centres.

Based at our impressive Head Office in Welwyn Garden City, we are open to flexible working, so you can choose a working pattern to fit around your life (up to 20 hrs per week).  

You will be responsible for

  • Working closely with key stakeholders to manage Tesco’s ‘The Apprenticeship Service’ digital account, including tracking and reconciliation of apprenticeship levy funds
  • Calculate ‘Off The Job Training’ requirements for each programme
  • Pro-actively model how changes in Government/Tesco policy will affect apprenticeship levy spend
  • Track progress of all our apprentices, highlighting where training providers are not meeting their KPI's
  • Produce a suite of reports that will support programme managers to make the right decisions, and inform senior stakeholders of progress
  • Analyse the results of apprenticeship surveys and provide next steps to programme managers
  • Support stakeholders across the business to access apprenticeship training tools and reporting e.g. Pulse
  • Work with the Quality and Compliance executive to provide assurance on compliance with regulations
  • Supporting the Apprenticeship and Graduate Team with adhoc data and finance queries

You will need

  • Data management and analysis experience – advanced Excel skills required
  • Stakeholder Management Skills
  • Great organisational skills
  • Drive and ability to work on your own and as part of a larger team
  • Great attention to detail
  • Experience of reconciling financial data is advantageous
