About the role

This is a high profile role, with line of sight into the Packaged leadership team, working closely with the Packaged Head of Finance and providing support to the Product FP&A Head of Finance 
 
As part of the Packaged Product finance team, you’ll be working at the heart of the UK business directly with the Product teams across categories including both Packaged food (from Beers Wines and Spirits, Impulse, Grocery and Household) and non-food categories. 
 
This is the central role within the Packaged finance team, acting as the link between the Packaged Finance Business Partners and Central FP&A and Control teams, as well as leading on overall Divisional initiatives

You will be responsible for

  • Lead the FP&A processes for the Division, ensuring integrity across Packaged categories and providing in depth knowledge of performance, as well as being the link to the central teams
  • Owner of the relationship for the Division with the Margin Discovery and PRGx teams
  • Work with teams across the business to develop the planning processes 
  • Take the lead for the Division on central areas, initiatives and projects, including working with the Trade Planning and Strategy teams and managing the Divisional head office costs
  • Stand over the consolidated Divisional forecast and management accounts, ensuring constantly looking ahead to identify commercial risks and opportunities
  • Lead the periodic and quarterly review process, and present at Packaged Product Leadership team meetings on budgets, forecasts and performance, providing insightful analysis that helps drive action
  • Building a strong relationship with the Bengaluru team that fosters collaboration and knowledge sharing to drive continuous improvement in reporting and supporting processes

You will need

  • Ability to build strong relationships across all Finance and Divisional teams
  • Inspires great performance, and fosters a motivating and collaborative team environment
  • Experience of business planning and forecasting processes, and a track record of providing excellent insight and analysis 
  • Able to engage and work with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, and commercial awareness
  • Qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA)
