About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager to be responsible for organising programs and activities across functions including Supply chain, Distribution, Stores and Tesco subsidiaries. You will be tasked with developing and delivering programs of work to support our strategic direction, as well as creating and managing long term goals. 
You will be in charge of developing budgets and operating plans for programs and writing training material and operating processes.  Extensive UK and overseas travel is likely

You will be responsible for

Independently manage complex projects end-to-end, from inception through to delivery and review, including:
- Organizing programs and activities in accordance our code of conduct
- Developing new programs to support the strategic direction of the business, working across functions to develop ideas
- Developing a budget / Business case and operating plan for programs of work you are involved in
- Developing an evaluation method to assess project strengths and identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Writing project training and operating processes to deliver uninterrupted delivery of services.
- Managing a cross functional team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.
- Ensuring goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality.
- Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.
- Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
- Analysing program risks.
- Working collaboratively to develop full solutions and operating models, and trialling these as necessary
- Managing and influencing stakeholders cross-functionally, at all levels, at the right time
- Responding in a timely manner to changing priorities; adapting and adjusting plans as required

You will need

- Experience of delivering operational improvement using relevant methodologies
- Experience working in a business change project management role in a dynamic environment
- Versatility and ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing business priorities
- Online, Fulfilment and/or Distribution experience is essential
