Agriculture Advisor - Initiatives

This role will manage Tesco's industry leading Future Farming Foundation and support on key agricultural initiatives and projects.

• Owning and project managing Tesco's key agricultural initiatives with the main focus being the Future Farmer Foundation.
• Working closely with our external partners to ensure the scheme delivers high quality business skills training and mentoring to our annual group of 50 future farmers.
• Supporting the wider Tesco's business in gaining recognition for key agricultural initiatives being delivered through our Tesco Sustainable Farming Groups.
• Supporting the delivery of the long term strategy for Tesco agriculture supply chains, ensuring they are sustainable and resilient.
• Working as part of the Agriculture team, sharing learnings across our function and taking ownership of cross-cutting elements and projects within our strategy.

Experience relevant for this job:

• Degree in Agriculture or related subject (such as animal science, farm business management etc)
• Experience within the agriculture industry
• Strong relationships with agriculture industry and community
• Experience of delivering and sustaining change
