Legal Counsel - Finance

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance lawyer to join our team working on a wide range of capital markets, banking and structured finance projects across the Group.  This role offers a unique opportunity to join a highly regarded legal team that is central to both a dynamic, fast moving retail business and a challenger retail bank (Tesco Bank).  

 

The finance legal team supports on funding issues across the Group, so the successful candidate will get exposure to a huge variety of key business areas, such as Treasury, Tax, IR and Audit as well as supporting our international teams. The team also supports Tesco Bank Treasury, offering a unique opportunity to advise both a corporate and a bank.

 

You will be expected to influence stakeholders and provide commercial and legally robust solutions. The role has high visibility internally, with our panel of external relationship banks and law firms. Excellent commercial judgement is required.
