About the role

We have a very exciting opportunity to join our People Business Partnering team as a People Associate.
In this role, you will be based in our Welwyn Garden City office, working closely with our People Teams and line managers across the business.  You will work to understand business priorities, challenges and opportunities in order to support, manage and implement sustainable initiatives and interventions across the business. You will partner with multiple business functions, coaching line managers on People Management issues, supporting the delivery of change projects and deploying core cycle activities to deliver the UK People Plan.
 

You will be responsible for

 - Coordinating the delivery of specific projects and short term pieces of people work for both People Business Partners and Market services e.g. maternity, inclusion, health and wellness

 - Working as part of a central team of experts whilst maintaining a partnering relationship through supporting a specific function

 - Playing a key role in coordinating colleague life cycle processes in line with the People Plan to ensure consistency and clarity for colleagues e.g. end of year performance, pay review and benchmarking

 - Being the first port of call for first line colleague relations issues such as supporting your performance and/or informal mediation, coaching managers and teams to self serve and work towards a successful resolution

 - Play a key role in supporting and coaching line managers to self serve as well as moving towards a more digital way of working

 - Supporting with the delivery of training/up-skilling to line managers on people specific processes

 - Supporting business partner team with data and insight administration e.g. performance data or diversity and inclusion information.

 

You will need

 - Experience in either a specialist people or generalist people role

 - Project Management experience

 - Coaching and Partnering experience
