About the role
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join Tesco as a Facilities Manager, where you will be responsible for all aspects of our service delivery and facilities operation across all Head Office Buildings.
This is a challenging and varied role where you will manage a small team and a wide range of property related activities including supplier performance reviews, risk assessments and ensuring compliance, health & safety and security standards are adhered to.
Based at Welwyn Garden City, you will also be expected to manage the operation at our London Office in Clerkenwell.
Whilst this is currently being offered as a 12 month FTC, there is the potential of a permanent opportunity.
You will be responsible for
- Developing and leading a high performing team, giving them the opportunities to be their best
- Driving improvements to the colleague experience in the offices, having an energetic and innovative approach to service delivery, constantly seeking developments
- Ensuring contractors and in-house teams deliver Service Level Agreements consistently
- Delivering moves and changes within their buildings with no business disruption
- Delivering services to agreed budgets, reviewing operations to identify potential cost saving opportunities
- Managing relationships with customer and team, supervising and performance managing the internal team
- Ensuring Health and Safety compliance and developing a safety culture ensuring we provide a safe environment to work and visit
- Delivering soft and hard services delivery by internal and external teams
- Managing occupancy and leading non-engineering refresh projects
- Mobilising new buildings and/or services as required
- Seeking opportunities to simplify operations and reduce costs
- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence
You will need
- Excellent communication skills with all levels, up to Board level
- Previous FM experience with a strong knowledge of service delivery
- Experience managing service providers from both a client and supplier perspective
- Managing large Corporate Office environments
- Previous experience delivering great customer service
- Experience of hospitality or food environments desirable
