About the role

In this role you will support Partnership relationships across our global markets and the delivery or sales and profit from these markets.  You will develop and execute customer led product strategies to ensure we land the right product, in the right country, priced, merchandised and promoted in-line with local best practice.

You will be responsible for

Leading a number of International Partnerships, ensuring that commercial opportunities are maximised and taking responsibility for the delivery of sales and net margin budgets.

Working alongside the International Partner Managers, you will play an important role in the delivery of sales and net margin budgets for your region by:

  • Coordinating cross-functionally across international borders, to ensure collated ranges are launched on time consumption.
  • Support with translating our global ranges into recommendations for our Partners that win buy-in and additional product listings for Tesco.
  • Where applicable, setting prices of selected ranges to ensure we are able to balance volume, sales and margin aspirations.
  • Contributing to the day-to-day trade planning with our Partners, ensuring that Tesco products are promoted per local customs, are included in relevant seasonal events and featured within our Partners trade driving events.  Ensure promotional investment is recorded and returns analysed.
  • Collaborating with both the Tesco and Partner technical teams, you will manage the delivery of product launches, ensuring that we are able to turn "product interest" into first orders in the quickest time-frame possible.
  • Working alongside the regional Supply Chain Manager to ensure that new line listings, promotional uplifts and product listing increases are managed to critical paths, thus ensuring they are included in the forecast whenever possible.
  • Contribute to the medium and long term planning with our Partners; ensuring that the right plans are in place to deliver the objectives set, that performance is closely monitored and that any areas of concern are quickly addressed.
  • Support in build pitch decks to ensure we are able to market and land growth opportunities with our strategically important Partners.
  • Support with tracking financial performance, ensuring any areas of concern are quickly addressed and that we jointly celebrate successes.
  • Supporting the New Business Development team.
  • Ensure our Business Code of Conduct is adhered at all times. Always act with integrity and due diligence and ensure legal compliance and plans are aligned to local country's regulation requirements at all times.

You will need

Relevant experience:

  • Sales and FMCG experience desired
  • Developing ranges to meet varied customer needs & expectations
