About the role

We are delighted to share a new and exciting opportunity for a Clubcard Operations Manager to join the Customer team.

We are a team of Clubcard Operations Managers. We manage core operations of the Clubcard scheme and support successful delivery of change to deliver an increase in operational efficiencies, Clubcard penetration, active customer base and ensure we are trading safely and legally. We sit in the Membership & Loyalty team. We work cross functionally with many teams across the business including legal, technology, marketing comms, retail, online and customer service.

You will be responsible for

Whilst specific responsibilities will be dependent upon the changing needs of the Tesco business, the following provides an overview of the role’s key responsibilities and measures:

 

  • Operational lead for the Digital Clubcard plan leading the natural work team working in partnership with Clubcard Propositions manager to deliver the agreed KPS and goals
  • Operation lead on core Clubcard propositions Clubcard Plus
  • Key support for Tesco Mobile and Tesco Bank, providing guidance and advice
  • Reacting to day to day operational requirements
  • Ensuring our terms and conditions remain relevant for the business and our customers.
  • Pro-actively supporting the security teams in preventing and minimizing fraud threats.
  • Working collaboratively with external suppliers to manage the stock levels of physical Clubcards
  • Owner of physical Clubcard marketing budget, raising purchase orders, forecasting and reconciliation of spend

You will need

Experience required

You’ll need to have demonstrated experience of:

  • Stakeholder management and communication.
  • Supplier management & relationships.
  • Working with ambiguity.
  • Presenting to senior stakeholders and leadership team.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to influence without authority.
  • A good understanding of technical concepts.

It remains that Shire Park is our central location for Head Office teams. For Head Office roles we therefore expect colleagues to spend a proportion of their time at our offices in Shire Park.
