About the role
Do you have experience with designing Products and working with Oracle? We are on the lookout for someone to coordinate the product lifecycle, balance outstanding delivery time for customers on what matters. We would be looking for someone prepared to become an authority in their field and act as the first layer of Management for people and Projects.
We are looking for a Product Manager to look after our "Scheduler" product at Tesco. Scheduler provides rotas for stores, there is an engine which automatically creates the schedules based on colleague and workload data.
You will be responsible for
- Considering strategy, roadmap and budget to make clear priority decisions for the future Scheduler product
- Defining and writing detailed product requirements and development goals, taking into account constraints.
- Play an integral part of the process in determining the full product lifecycle
- Being the champion for customers and internal users, understanding their respective
- Managing business partners expectations and collaborate with development teams
- Supporting the change team to achieve the deployment and changes required for the Scheduler product
- Using data to drive decisions and measure the efficiency of the outcome in terms of value to the customer and/or internal user.
- Challenging the status quo, delivering continuous improvement, formulating and proposing ideas for the long-term roadmap
- Identifying problems and/or opportunities within areas of the business or Technology
- Pro-actively researching the market, suggesting innovative solutions and ideas to business problems.
You will need
- Having a positive, can-do attitude and contributing to an hard working and motivated team environment.
