The Engineering Platform team’s mission is to ensure developers spend more time working on value. The Developer Portal should become a centre piece to support Discoverability for all things Dev.
The Developer Portal should be the first point of call for Developers before, during and after their own teams SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). Being the home of API references, the developer Portal should also address higher level topics to less technical audiences and provide clear explanations, examples, and tutorials on crucial and/or commonly misunderstood topics. It should also become a place to showcase the outstanding engineering we do by promoting colleagues' contributions.
Your customers will be our developers, but we should treat it as an external facing tool (as we might want to open it to the outside world in the future) and ensure that the quality and discoverability of the content are second to none.
As the Senior Product Manager for the Developer Portal, you will guide the portal capabilities from discovery through execution. You will focus on the need of your customers, fellow developers, to iteratively improve and enhance both the portal and the content hosted in it.
