About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Campaign Manager to join our Marketing Communications team. In this role you will deliver multi-channel campaigns through effective and engaging communications designed to improve perceptions of Tesco food quality. You will also be responsible for the local marketing of new stores and combating competitor openings.

You will be responsible for

  • End-to-end campaign management with large-scale budgets, focussed on driving food quality perception and bringing our brand(s) to life in mouth-watering food comms across all touch points
  • Writing and delivering single-minded and inspiring briefs to world-class agencies like BBH London and brilliant internal teams
  • Assessing, feeding back on, and developing the creative and strategic approach for each campaign
  • Collaborating with the Media Planning team to design integrated campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels
  • Working closely with the Brand and Proposition teams to build joined up plans, write briefs, and translate business challenges/opportunities into comms
  • Partnering with the Insight team to ensure that campaigns are built, tracked and improved based on data and insight.
  • Forecasting, managing, and tracking campaign budgets, always looking for ways to save
  • Proactively finding opportunities for campaign innovation and ways to improve

You will need

  • Experience developing and deploying integrated campaigns in media channels
  • The ability to craft and deliver communication briefs as well as assess and give feedback on strategic and creative work
  • Strong people management skills and cross-functional teams leadership
  • A genuine passion for food - restaurants, cooking, eating, watching
