About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Web Content Publisher to join our Creative Services team! In this role you will be responsible for content management and publishing of assets, building web pages, effective stakeholder management, timely project management, component testing and QAing new features to support online trading.

You will be responsible for

  • Providing on-time, quality and reasoned solutions to CMS tasks;
  • Modifying image or text assets to respond to business needs and user-experience improvement opportunities;
  • Quality assurance, testing and validation of work;
  • Communicating & collaborating effectively with the team, managing stakeholders on timings, issues & dependencies;
  • Working closely with Online trade and content teams, copywriters, technology and designers to deliver accurate and engaging content;
  • Reviewing own work and others to continuously improve on the Online customer experience, campaigns and propositions - ensuring continuous improvement of the online experience;
  • Supporting the ongoing development and production of the Tesco website (specifically tesco.ie) post-launch.

You will need

  • Knowledge of content management systems, web code, design techniques for cross-browser / platform / device. Ability to create & edit templates for CMS / web dev framework;
  • Responsive design & touch screen principles;
  • Knowledge of AA W3C and WAI current standards as well as understanding of accessibility guidelines;
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency in your work;
  • Defect resolution & problem-solving skills;
  • Knowledge of Jira and Agile methodologies would be advantageous.
