Roles and Responsibility :
Programming :
•Good Understanding of Java 8/11 with strong hands-on skills
•Practitioner of Clean code and SOLID principles
•Follower of TDD/BDD techniques
•Master of using at least one microservice framework and enough of tool ecosystem to implement end to end component
•Comfortable producing and refactoring code & Able to test drive features

Design:
•Able to apply architectural trade off methods and come up with the best feasible architecture for the given business problem

•Able to mentor the team in socializing design skills best practices
Development Practice:
•Solid experience BDD/TDD/Performance/Security/Smoke testing

Infrastructure:

Experience & Skills: We are looking for Language agnostic people however below is the end to end tech stack we use for developing our large scale retail platforms.
Must Have:
•Ability to quickly understand domain knowledge
•Able to propose cloud native architecture backed up by PoCs and keeping cost factors in mind
•Able to come up with architectural options and weigh them with trade-offs for building scalable microservices
•Java 8/ JEE and experience with at least one application framework such as Spring Vert.x
•Understanding the basics of media processing and content management systems (CMS)
•CI/CD to manage the application deployment on cloud
•Collaboration – using tools like Git-Hub and JIRA
•Experience with Elasticsearch/Couchbase
•Hands-on experience in messaging systems such as Kafka RabbitMQ etc
•Cloud Solutions – working on Azure or AWS or GCP
•Able to review the code design and give developmental feedback
Good to have:
•RxJava/Spring Webflux and Reactive Programming
•Prior experience in Digital Asset management (DAM) / Content Management System (CMS) is advantageous
