About the role

In this exciting opportunity, you'll manage the end to end talent process across the Group, ensuring our talent strategy aligns to the needs of the business, understanding functional gaps and how we can retain talent within Tesco.

 

The Hiring Manager for this vacancy is Elly Winder

You will be responsible for

  • Manage Group wide senior (WL4-6) Talent and Succession Planning (Group Functional and Market Talent Planning) including timeline, planning, identifying key themes, content development and tracking progress
  • Facilitate Group Functional and Market Talent Planning with specific markets and subsidiaries
  • Champion the diversity agenda and ensure all markets are applying a diversity and inclusion lens to Talent
  • Educate people business partners and leaders on the importance of talent management, using Your Contribution to deliver the performance cycle 
  • Lead, define and manage the Performance Management and Talent Cycle, including timescales across the Group
  • Work with People Comms and People Services to ensure delivery of the cycle 
  • Provide specific talent support and People Director partnering for Booker
  • Support the Head of Talent in partnering market People Directors
  • Partner Group wide talent teams (including all UK subsidiaries and the UK Talent Partners)
  • Run the Group wide talent community of practice & events 
  • I am the 'System' point of contact for Your Contribution in the Talent Team
  • Line manage two Talent Associates.
