Our Quality team have a rare opportunity to join as an Analyst where you will be looking into insights of data consisting of refunds, reviews, and complaints and use that knowledge to make positive changes for our customers. The data will be mostly about our food products, producing really interesting findings!

You will be responsible for

Whilst specific responsibilities will be dependent upon the changing needs of the Tesco business, the
following provides an overview of the role’s key responsibilities and measures:

 

  • Working with Group Quality Teams to understand the business priorities across different commercial departments.
  • The ability to access and manipulate customer data as well as other data sources, to create meaningful insight which the Group Quality teams can react quickly to.
  • The ability to convert that insight into clear priorities for different teams across Group Technical, through conversion of insight into a professional and clear presentation format.
  • The ability to present insight clearly to different internal stakeholders, of different levels, always linking back to the category priorities.
  • Investigating trends and drivers of Customer Satisfaction and Product Quality issues across all categories, and creating recommendations from that insight.
  • Ensures effective and speedy reporting to different teams across Group Quality, around all aspects of Returns, Refunds, and Complaints.
  • Supporting the broader Returns and Product Assessment team by always identifying opportunities to improve what we collectively do.
  • Be competent at being able to apply different techniques to extract data, analyse that date, create insight from that data, convert that insight into a clear set of recommendations, and present back to stakeholder groups.
  • Additional ad hoc activities to support the Returns and Product Assessment teams as required.

This role will best suit an individual who enjoys working as part of a team, is well organised, pragmatic and a lateral thinker with an inquisitive mind who is motivated to make change for the better and, most importantly, puts our customers first.
