You will be responsible for

  • Attending stocktakes, store / DC coaching events and supplier workshops to ensure that the external count process and service continue to be delivered consistently across the business.
  • Ensuring that all stock takes on your cluster start on time, with any escalations resolved
  • Being reactive to the needs of the department, travelling overnight to stores that need the most support
  • Being known as the expert on the process, and making yourself accessible for stores to contact you for guidance and advice
  • Troubleshooting and solving all escalations from either stores or suppliers
  • Prioritising tasks and identifying when an issue has become a problem.
  • Collaborating with dedicated teams as well as cross-functional teams where applicable; co-operating with external suppliers and being the recognised, trusted expert of the process.
  • Communicating objectives, deliverables and actions in the most effective, informative and simple way for the target audience.
  • Planning your own time and interpreting data effectively.
  • Demonstrating good communication skills and ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Demonstrating strong planning skills and developing realistic, well thought-out plans and delivering against those plans.
  • Being disciplined, organised and a good communicator with the leadership qualities to motivate those around them.
  • Coaching and supporting both store and supplier teams.
  • Effectively interacting with external suppliers to deliver process changes and training.
  • Following our business code of conduct and always acting with integrity/due diligence.

You will need

Experience/Operational skills required:

  • Planning & organising including prioritising workload
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Ability to work shift patterns, including early morning and late evenings
  • Experience of Stock Control within a store environment
