About the role

Our team is looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative professional, responsible for administering the smooth running of our communications and engagement strategy across the Technology department.

You will be collaborative, organised, have excellent attention to detail and be able to communicate effectively and relevantly to different colleague populations at all levels across a number of locations.
This is a fantastic time to join our newly formed team. Your creative ideas and strategic thinking will help improve and shape our plans for the coming years in how we communicate and engage our colleagues around the globe. As well as coming up with ideas, you’ll be able to implement and be part of the execution stage. Nothing is better than seeing a process from start to finish and being both strategic and hands on.

You will be responsible for

  • The creation, management and delivery of communications to technology colleagues around the globe, ensuring messaging is clear, compelling and relevant, using the channels and tools available.
  •  Collaborating closely with internal partners to schedule, craft, approve and send messages through the Technology Comms inbox, as well as providing colleagues with the relevant training and tools to demonstrate a self serve environment.
  • Working with internal communication teams to deliver motivating, innovative and engaging communications promoting colleague participation and advocacy.
  • Delivering our internal communication plan across technology in a creative and engaging manner, ensuring content is fresh, innovate and compelling for colleagues.
  • Organising and executing a wide variety of events for colleagues across a number of locations to drive engagement, educate and inspire. To include annual conferences, networking events and team meetings; both face to face and virtual, to a range of audiences.
  • Project managing activities and events aligned to our overall strategy by working closely with various teams within the business, as well as external agencies and suppliers, often working to tight deadlines.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, communicating in an effective and relevant way to different colleague populations at all levels.
  • Having a creative mindset, continually looking for ways to excite and engage with our internal audience.
  • Being a brand advocate, inspiring and educating others on our brand standards
  • Forecasting and managing budgets effectively, always being cost conscious.
  • Following our business code of conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence.

You will need

  • Previous experience in a communications and/or events role
  • Event Management and execution
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Brand awareness/ management
  • Organisational, planning and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to work on a number of projects simultaneously
  • Able to work to tight deadlines
  • Relationship building
  • Creative thinking
  • MS Office (inc Excel and powerpoint)
  • Proven stakeholder management (Desiable)
  • Experience of working within an internal comms team (desirable)
  • Project Management experience (desirable)
