About the Online Technology Programme Team
The Online Technology team have led the way in delivering outcomes which is driving the transformation of the Tesco technology platform: We have significantly grown the number of customers who rely on us to deliver their shopping to their home or convenient location. We saw substantial increases in volumes and customers through the pandemic which tested and proved the scalability of the platform. These increases saw use regularly exceed over 1.3m orders a week though the retail platform.
The Online mission is to continue our growth alongside improving the customer experience. We aim to make shopping easy, saving customers time for the things that matter most to them.
The role we are hiring is to pick up on some of our larger scale projects we look to deliver this year working across multiple supporting technology teams at Tesco to deliver true step change in our online customer experience. We are looking for a passionate programme manager who can influence priorities and plan around dependencies to deliver value straight to the customer doorstep.
The position will be based in the UK - Welwyn Garden City and Farringdon, London
This role will report to Senior Technical Programme Manager, Online Programmes
As a Lead Technical Programme Manager, you will deliver complex, cross-functional technology programmes that support colleagues and help serve our customers better. They work collaboratively, influence Product, Engineering and business colleagues and lead the programme to deliver value quickly and often.
