Our DevOps Engineers have industry-leading technical abilities, demonstrating breadth and depth of knowledge of engineering standard methodologies! As a key member of the team who is an expert in their technical specialism, you deliver system solutions for colleagues and engineering of high quality promptly. You will contribute to valuable features that customers use, participate in retrospectives, suggest improvements to processes and methodologies to speed delivery, question requirements and challenges where necessary, identifying value of tasks & always works on the highest priority items.

We use a modern DevOps stack, including Azure, AKS and Terraform. You will work with different technologies in different areas and embrace challenges!

You will be responsible for

  • Building and maintaining infrastructure in Azure and on-premises data centres in a PCI zone.
  • Automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Helping us in building highly available and scalable systems.
  • Supporting live testing & chaos engineering.
  • Being involved in the full development life cycle and understanding the infrastructure implications of changes
  • Automation (disaster recovery, testing of security compliance, performance testing, load testing etc.).
  • Contributing to post incident analysis

You will need

  • Docker, Azure, Azure AKS, Kubernetes, On-premise data centres, Terraform and Postgres.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, GitHub, Splunk, Grafana, and New Relic
  • Experience with Linux and shell scripting.
  • Experience in lean, agile environments. You must be a team player with the ability to influence and lead stakeholders.
  • Compute / Hosting: Able to automate the operation of Azure Infrastructure.
  • Operating Systems (Windows / Linux): using desired state configuration management tooling 
  • Networking: Able to automate delivery and changes of network configurations • Collaboration Tools: Able to deploy new collaboration tooling into our environment.
  • CI/CD pipelines: can create a CI/CD pipeline to deploy Infrastructure changes.
  • Can troubleshoot failures, determine root causes, and make any escalations as appropriate. Liaise with stakeholders during issue resolution.
  • Able to identify and remove impediments to enable the team to get things done.
  • Provides the team with the tools to do their job.
  • Facilitates the interaction with other teams for any dependency or integration.

  • Ability to demonstrate strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills to all levels of seniority and disciplines within the organisation.
