As a Marketplace Operations Executive you will be responsible for onboarding & supporting third party sellers onto the Tesco Marketplace platform, to drive scalable growth by optimising and enhancing our product assortment.

You will be responsible for

Manage the on-boarding of third party sellers onto the Tesco Marketplace platform

  • Develop and demonstrate sound technical and business understanding of the marketplace platform and what is needed to maintain a high bar for our customer experience on-site (item data quality, etc.)
  • Use this knowledge to educate and support sellers to successfully launch and maintain their business on the platform

Monitoring quality of Marketplace and identifying areas of improvement

  • Establish and maintain audit processes for marketplace listings, ensuring sellers are adhering to guidelines
  • Establish important metrics for quality and build a regular reporting process to monitor these metrics
  • Identify areas of improvement and opportunities for continuous development of the Marketplace proposition

Be the subject matter expert for the seller on-boarding and Marketplace catalogue

  • Work with partner teams (CEC, product/tech) to investigate issue and identify solutions

You will need

Operation skills relevant for this job:

  • Data Manipulation (Microsoft Excel/Reporting)
  • Ability to quickly grasp a solid understanding of multiple product systems (custom built or third party)
  • Handle multiple tasks with contending priorities
  • Project Management
  • Continuous Improvement (CI)
  • Good communication

Experience relevant for this job:

  • Experience in working in an Online and/or Multichannel/Omnichannel Environment, especially Retail
  • Collaborating with numerous partners of varying technical/IT experience
  • Workload/priority management
  • Project Management
