Finance

Our Finance team is right at the heart of Tesco, touching upon every part of our business and impacting millions of Shoppers and our 340,000+ Colleagues.  Everything we do supports the core purpose of serving our shoppers a little better every day.  The size and global reach of our business, not to mention our focus on value for customers, means that we are about so much more than just numbers.

Finance career opportunities with us span everything from business partnering, planning & analysis through to investor relations, tax and treasury and every finance specialism you can think of.  The diversity of our team means that no matter what your role or specialism, you will have the opportunity to impact our business and make changes for the better.  We also pride ourselves on enabling our colleagues to develop and progress their careers so whether you want to deepen your expertise, broaden your skills across different disciplines or progress to leadership we can support you to do this.

Procurement

Within Procurement we look after the buying of goods and services not for resale (GSNFR), supporting our business to drive efficiency and make sure the best value solution is always in place. Working in our team you'll gain insight into how we develop procurement strategy, partner with the business and build trusted supplier relationships. Our Procurement teams collaborate with all areas of Tesco – procuring everything from our technology hardware and software to our Tesco trolleys – meaning you can develop your buying capabilities at huge scale.

Being the largest scale retail procurement function in the UK and amongst the largest in the supermarket sector worldwide, means ours is an environment where there are many opportunities to get on and develop your career. We’re very proud that our team has recently been recognised with an award for excellence from the European Institute of Procurement Management as 'Transformation leaders in turbulent times'.
