Our purpose in Business Support is to provide a market-leading service to help our colleagues serve customers a little better every day.

To provide a market-leading service for our colleagues and customers, we have six teams that that link between our stores and our office; Food Operations, General Merchandise Operations, Planning and Response, Shrink, Security and Safety, Customer Service, Operating Model. Within each team we focus on operational excellence and change innovation. Our work is all about improving the experience for customers and colleagues.

The Operational Management side of Business Support looks after the smooth running of the business by working cross functionally with Stores, Product and Office teams. Our teams play a key role in; designing plans and strategies for our Food and General Merchandise areas, listening to colleagues to help them solve issues such as workload and acting as gatekeepers of communications in-store to allow colleagues to be clear on how to serve customers a little better everyday.

Within Business Support we are continually looking at how we can improve how our Stores operate and how we can make the shopping experience simpler for colleagues and customers. As a Business Support Project Manager you will be innovating, scoping and implementing world-leading change projects.

Working in Welwyn Garden City

Our campus sits just 10 minutes walk from the centre of Welwyn Garden city with its many shops, restaurants, pubs and sports facilities. Close to the A1 and with frequent trains running to Kings Cross in as little as 26 minutes (free shuttle buses take you between the station and office) the campus is well connected to the surrounding area.
