About the role

As a member of the mainframe security team, your role is to protect the Tesco mainframes by supporting security initiatives and administration. Working with your team and manager, maintaining control over the access and security monitoring of the mainframe platform. This role includes supporting our business users with any queries they have on access requirements or issues

You will be responsible for

  • Respond to user requests and issues assigned to the in RACF ticketing system
  • Review and action change requests for RACF access
  • Respond to security alerts received from mainframe security monitoring
  • Administration of the RACF Roles Based Access application (RBAC)
  • Administration of the RACF Breakglass application for privileged access management
  • Recertification of access to roles with data owners
  • Creation and maintenance of mainframe security playbooks
  • Administration of TPX session manager
  • Assist in audit evidence and remediation activities

You will need

  • Extensive RACF Security knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge of IBM RACF Mainframe security software & configuration
  • Extensive z/Secure knowledge
  • Knowledge of creating specific Access Control Lists
  • Experience with mainframe languages such as: JCL, REXX, CLIST, ISPF
  • Understanding of security concepts and technologies
  • Understanding of z/OS components

Nice to have

  • CARLa reporting knowledge
  • Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley controls
  • Experience on digital certificate management & implementation
  • Knowledge of RACF remote sharing facility (RRSF)
