The Strategy and Planning team look after the Group Communications strategy, making sure that the whole team are clear on what matters most to our customers, colleagues and stakeholders. This means working closely with internal and external insight teams to really get under the skin of what matters to customers, colleagues and stakeholders.

Our Campaign Management team is responsible for planning and delivering key strategic campaigns for Tesco, such as food waste or health, making sure we are engaging the right people at the right time and delivering a clear and consistent message. Working in this team you would become the expert of the campaign topic and support the business to decide what our position should be on key issues, such as the sugar tax.

Our colleagues within the team are always creating brilliant content for our events and campaigns and are critical to successfully delivering our campaigns. As part of this team you will support to create highly engaging, interactive and quality content to bring our campaigns to life, using channels such as videos, tweets, blogs or photography. You will have the chance to get out and about in the business, whether that’s filming our national colleague event or tweeting live from the AGM.

Stakeholder Management is important to how we connect and communicate with our key stakeholders who can be customers, colleagues, charities and communities. Our Press Office or our Local Communications Managers are often called upon when unexpected events happen. At these times, you would be at the forefront of Tesco’s response and key to making sure that we are doing the right thing and continuing to build trust amongst our stakeholders.
